Labyrinth Lake is a one-of-a-kind lakefront wedding and special events venue, nestled on 160 acres outside of Gwynne, Alberta.
The Owl's Nest patio comfortably seats up to 150 guests and connects to an indoor hall for catering prep and additional space.
You can host your guests by the lake, on the lake view ceremony deck, the Owl's Nest patio, inside the hall — or flow across all our spaces throughout the day.
Overnight camping is available for guests who want to make a full weekend of it.

The Ceremony Deck
Our Lake View ceremony deck area offers stunning water views to the North, South, and West.
The 1200 sq ft. raised wooden deck has glass panels for safety and a design features to give this space
a nautical feel.
Perfect for ceremonies or cocktail hour, guests often gravitate here to mingle and chat.
Reception Area -
Owl's Nest Patio Deck
The Owl's Nest Hall and its adjoining lakeside deck create a beautiful indoor-outdoor reception space.
The north-facing plexiglass wall fills the space with natural light by day and opens up to lake and sky views — sometimes even the northern lights — as the evening unfolds.
Three-season vinyl curtains, LED-lit posts, and dimmable roof lighting let you set exactly the right mood.
A small raised stage is ideal for a DJ, band, or your head table. Round or rectangular tables fit beautifully, with most seats overlooking the water and gardens.
Reception Area - Inside
The Owl's Nest Patio deck can comfortably seat up to 150 guests for weddings, baby showers, celebrations of life and other special events.
The Owl's Nest Hall connects directly to the patio and is fully equipped for your catering team — fridge, stove, commercial dishwasher, microwave, and two sinks.
The space can doubles as a prep and storage area before and after your event.
Labyrinth Lake doesn't offer catering services,
but we're happy to connect you with our preferred vendors in the area.
The Bridal Suite
Prior to the ceremony, the bride and her attendants will have exclusive use of the
Bridal Suite.
A loft with vanity mirrors, a full bathroom and comfortable living area make this an ideal space for getting ready and taking photos as the count down begins!
Groom's Quarters
Unwind with a cold drink and a game of pool in the Groom's Quarters cabin before you and your groomsmen suit up for the big day.
Includes comfortable seating, a full-length mirror, mini bar fridge, and a pool and poker table.
Camping Grounds
Camping is available a short walk from the Owl's Nest Patio.
Two RV hookups are in the main parking lot, with additional space for dry camping or tenting on mowed grass or gravel.

Damage Deposit, Contract and Insurance
To save your date, you'll secure your booking a contract, insurance, and damage deposit.
