Labyrinth Lake Lodge
Labyrinth Lake Lodge is tailoring itself towards becoming an exclusive wedding venue in 2020. Guests have been coming to our lake-country facility for more than 20 years. The newly expanded Owl's Nest deck can comfortably host up to 150 guests!
Labyrinth Lake Lodge is situated on 160 private acres with the Ducks Unlimited Land and Crown Land easily accessible by canoe. Many years ago this homestead was farmed but now the water and land are yours to enjoy and make your wedding day unique and special in so many ways!
The ceremony deck provides views of Labyrinth Lake to the North, South and West. The raised 1200 square foot wooden deck has a fully equipped staging area, with microphones, chairs and a registrar table.
Reception Area - Outside
The main reception is held in the Owl’s Nest Hall and outside
on the Deck. The green metallic roof of the Owl's Nest provides shade while
the north side is transparent plexiglass. This allows natural light in during the
day and romantic star-gazing at night. On rare occasions, one might even see
the northern lights dancing over the lake.
The raised wooden deck has 4-foot glass panels surrounding the outside, giving
you an oasis of garden greenery and lake. The bar is also on the Deck, making
it a wonderful place to socialize. A fridge, freezer and sink are available for your
bartender to use.
At the far end of the deck is a raised stage area that could be used for the head
tables or a band or DJ. Tables and chairs can be arranged to your liking for
garden views or water views on the large wooden deck. Wooden posts make
decorating a breeze for your own individual taste. Lighting of the deck was
taken seriously and come the evening, you won’t be disappointed by
our led light display.
Reception Area - Inside
The Owl’s Nest Hall is connected to the deck. This can serve as your caterers' food prep area, it is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave and two sinks. There is a rolling counter that can be used for prep or for serving a buffet. The kitchen has sliding doors that can be rolled shut once the main dinner is over. In this same area, we have a TV screen that can display any visuals that you may want during the reception. Two large clear shaded plexiglass doors can be opened or closed depending on weather or time of day. The Owl’s Nest Hall can serve as a quiet area for guests to visit during the wedding party because here you will find comfortable couches or bar tables to stand and visit.
Labyrinth Lake Lodge does not offer catering services but we welcome your choice of caterers. We will happily refer you to our preferred vendors in the area.
The Bridal Suite
Prior to the ceremony, the bride and her attendants will have exclusive use of the Bridal Suite. A bathroom and comfortable living area make this an ideal space for getting ready and taking photos as the count down begins!
The groom's quarters are in a private separate lodging and is available for his use and his attendants prior to the ceremony. This is where he can suit up and prepare for the big day!
The camping areas are a short walk away from the Main Lodge. At this time there are no hook-ups, but washrooms are available in the main yard. There are several fire pits and picnic tables for your wedding party to use during their stay. The mowed sites suitable for trailers, tents and RV’s are only a few short minutes walk away from the lake or the Owl’s Nest Hall Lodge.
Please be aware of any fire restrictions or bans during your stay with us. Labyrinth Lake Lodge will not be held liable for any fines.
A Safe Place
Labyrinth Lake Lodge has always been designated as a “safe place”. We have embraced differences in religion and sexual orientation since our beginnings.
We also ask that you appreciate the wildlife, birds and nature that call Labyrinth Lake their home. Well behaved 4 legged friends are always welcome when accompanied by their owners.
Labyrinth Lake Lodges' main focus will be on weddings moving forward, but should availability occur, we would welcome again lodging in our North and South Lodges. As well as our facilities for family reunions, corp retreats, showers, birthdays, anniversaries or as a music venue. Feel free to contact us for more information!
Damage Deposit, Contract and Insurance
Our policies are flexible but we find that in the interest of our guests, that we all abide by the rules set out in the contract, insurance and damage deposits. We look forward to answering any questions you might have and look forward to hosting you at our unique venue any day or time between May and October.
